Oliver is a Partner at Concept Ventures, having joined as the firm’s first employee in 2019. Since then, he has been closely involved in building the fund from the ground up — helping shape its investment focus, identity, brand, and approach to supporting founders.
A native Londoner, he grew up in Spain before returning to the UK for school and university, graduating from the University of Exeter. Early in his career he worked in fintech, gaining first-hand GTM and operational experience, before helping launch and scale a food-tech brand. These experiences gave him a deep appreciation for the challenges founders face in the earliest stages of company building.
At Concept, Oliver works side-by-side with founders, always from the very first cheque to Series-C and beyond. He focuses on supporting teams through their most critical moments — from hiring early leadership, to navigating fundraising, to scaling product and GTM strategies. Internally, he has helped design and lead Concept’s post-investment support, strengthening the fund’s ability to help portfolio teams win. He also leads Concept’s marketing and brand efforts, ensuring the fund remains founder-first and well-connected across the ecosystem.
Outside of work, Oliver is a long-standing Fulham season ticket holder and can often be found chasing the occasional win on Apex Legends.
