Founded in 2020 in London, Gretel reconnects consumers with lost pensions, investments and accounts. Historically, services to find individuals' dormant assets and unclaimed payments have always been undertaken on a "consumer pays" basis, where the asset holder pays for the service. Through a combination of bespoke APIs, open finance, and deep understanding of asset reunification – Gretel automates and transforms a process that currently takes up to 3 months into one taking just 3 minutes.
